She never mentions the word addiction in certain company

This blog was spawned from me posting daily bits of information every day throughout April for Alcohol Awareness Month. Since I started out about two weeks ago, I’ve already changed the name, the location, the look and a good lot about it. Plus, I’ve tried to avoid slipping into radio silence right after its inception. This has been difficult, though, as I have basically been trying to keep up two blogs at the same time that I’m working full time and carving out Q.T. for my family and regular meetings.

This is not an excuse. Rather, this is an introduction to the newest feature here at “God, Drugs and Thugs.” You may have noticed the new tab at the top of the screen labeled “Alcohol Awareness” (go ahead and look up there, I’ll wait). Here, you can find the entire months’ worth of alcohol-related posts to which I subjected my Facebook friends. Over the past month, I have received some really good feedback from what I was sharing, so I thought perhaps others would be interested in learning a bit about alcoholism from lil ol’ me. As you can tell, I started off small and worked my way up to longer, more personal posts. I’m sure my ego threw in some idiocy and repetition, but God also threw in a good measure of wisdom. If you know of someone who may benefit from this information, please feel free to share. It’s going to stay here indefinitely.

As for the regular blog, I may formulate some sort of schedule for posts… or some sort of theme… but for now, I’m still feeling it out. Thanks for hanging with me. And, as always, positive feedback is welcome. As is negative feedback with a positive spin.
